The Georgetown University Hockey Team culminated its finest season ever by
defeating Duke and winning the championship of the Atlantic
Coast Collegiate Hockey League (ACCHL) playoff tournament on Sunday,
February 25, 2007, at the Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Arlington, Virginia.
In the semi-final game on Saturday night, the Hoya Hockey team overpowered
the Wolfpack of North Carolina State University 9-2. In the championship
game on Sunday afternoon, Georgetown rallied from a 1-0 deficit at the end
of the first period, dominated the remainder of the game, and soundly

by winning both the ACCHL regular season championship and the ACCHL playoff
tournament. Overall, the Hoya Hockey team finished the season with a
